Knowing the game system which Heavy Gear uses is an important step toward having a fun and successful time on Heavy Gear MUX. While it is not our intention to show you every in and out of the Silhouette system, we do want to give you an overview of the basics so that you can understand how to function within the game world.
This section is split into a series of sub-categories, which are listed below.
- Dice and Actions - Here we have a brief description of how dice figure in to contests, either against nature or against another player.
- Characters - This is a discussion on how characters are put together from attributes, skills, perks and flaws.
- Examples - Contained in this section is a list of common character archetypes and example attribute and kill sets. This list does not include any perks and flaws - it is only meant to be used as an example for your own character ideas. You can also find examples of character backgrounds here.
- Char-Gen Hints - A set of hints to help you get your character through the approval process and out into the world at large.
